Apart from encouraging collective efforts among residents to reduce the amount of waste and increase recycling, the city is considering the construction of new landfills. A public hearing on this issue will be held at City Hall at 2 p.m. on April 14. The purpose of this hearing is to provide all residents with the opportunity to present their views on the social, economic, and environmental impacts of this project.
